Germanic Studies alumna Zuka’a Joudeh finalist for Rhodes Scholarship

Zuka'a Joudeh, who double majored in Germanic Studies and Political Science (Class of 2019), reached the finalist stage in the incredibly competitive competition for a Rhodes Scholarship, one of the most prestigious post-graduate awards possible in the US.

Zuka'a not only worked closely with faculty and graduate students in Germanic Studies, but she was also mentored and supported by Norma Moruzzi, the director of the International Studies minor in the School of Literatures, Cultural Studies and Linguistics.
